For free! meade 8 inch SCT tube

Hi all - I have a Meade 8 inch SCT - its missing the corrector, and both the main mirror and secondary have scratches. (but could be recoated I guess)

I got this as a freebie a while ago - looks like the previous owner smashed the corrector, and attempted to replace it with plate glass. (thats how I got it)

Apart from that, the tube seems to be in reasonable condition. :-) (focuser seems ok, although I detect a slight grittiness sometimes - probably stray bits of glass)

Its of no use to me, so if someone wants to pick it up, feel free! (its going in the bin otherwise)

I will leave it just on the other side of the gate to my car port - I will leave the gate is normally unlocked, so you can just grab it...
