WALL-E have you guys seen this movie
A very cute animation movie for the young at heart (the big kids)
WALL-E (short for Waste Allocation Lift Loader, Earth-Class) is the only robot of his kind left on Earth after a botched attempt at trying to clean the trash-covered planet. The WALL-E units were left behind to clean the planet while humanity enjoyed a 5-year cruise. Before the last of the humans left Earth for good, claiming operation Cleanup wasn't working, they forgot to turn WALL-E off. The 5-year cruise became a 700-year cruise with humans content to remain in space, waited on hand and foot by an army of robots care of the Buy N Large corporation. After 700 years of continuing his directive, i.e. cleaning the planet, WALL-E developed one little glitch: a personality. He is extremely curious, friendly to his pet cockroach, Hal, and even a little bit lonely.

I took my kids to it and we all loved it. I like the concept of absolutely no dialog for the first 20mins or so. Like an old silent film in some respects.

I watched it at the last dark sky camp I went to... It has a stunning scene where Wall-E is going past the big spiral galaxy (looks a bit like andromeda ) I had a ball trying to identify a bunch of cartoon nebulae and galaxies they went past!
Found it to be a good movie...

As Alex said, we saw it at the last Dark Sky Camp, thanks Robin.
Since then, I've watched it a couple of times.
I enjoyed it, and so did my kids.
I also liked Iron Giant.
Another kids anim. with a message.

Excellent probably one of the best story's i have seen. A must watch movie for everyone. A cold splash of water and a good serious look in the mirror.

I thought it was done very well.
I really liked the part where he finds a spork and doesn't know where to put it in his spoon and fork collection, and where he runs over his pet cockroach, that made me laugh.
