Post Leonids Meteor Shower Peak.

On November 16th the Leonid meteor shower peaks. There should be around 15 bright meteorites per hour.

Viewing in Aust will be adversely affected by the low elevation and the moon. I can't see it being good viewing from here.

Popped out 3.30- 4am today - a few clouds and a too bright Moon, and saw only 1 meteor, which was a Leonid. Back to bed for me.

Saw Leonid today

About 2am this morning, a bright green Leonid shot over the house and arched down into valley below. I'm approx 2000 feet above sea level, so it was fairly close, travelling slower than expected. Hi guys, my first post.
