Recent arrival of our first child means that my observing will be drastically restricted, plus the scope won't go in the car with everyone else! So I'm downsizing to my small, portable scopes for now.
The scope is around 2 years old and is in good condition. The model number is BT-202. It has the usual dew spots on the mirror but optical performance is excellent and surprised me when I got it.
The scope comes with 8x50 finderscope, dew/dust cap, cooling fan and three eyepieces. The Dob base is in excellent condition and is very smooth. The original box is also included.
The specs can be seen on the Bintel website. The differences from the current model are:
1. The focuser is a Crayford single speed.
2. Standard balance mechanism (current model has a new brake system)
3. Tube is grey, not white.

Note: if anyone wants to buy this as a Christmas present, I'll gladly store it for you until you're ready to pick it up closer to the day.
