Ngc 2070

l was comparing the FOV with .8 and .63 reducers. this is Megrez 90 with W.O .8 reducer giving 5.52. conditions were not good with moonage, wind gusts and a low target at least for the start of the session.
Canon 400D 4 x 10 min @iso 400
4 x 5 min @iso 800 with UHC-S.
hand guided through LX 200 @ f/10.

Although it looks a little washed out on my display Mick, I think you have good technique and data underpinning that image which bodes well for a night with no Moon, no wind and a greater altitude.

Pretty cool Mick. Focus and guiding spot on. Never found it to be an easy target. Somehow always been sort of noisy for me. Maybe too much background nebulosity or stars piled up together .
