Question 2" eyepiece help wanted

Help wanted please
I need a 2" eyepiece that will not break the bank

Scope 12" F5 with Paracorr. So FL 1500 and with Paracorr FL 1725.

Budget $250. No More

This eyepiece will be used as a finder eyepiece and so will not spend lots of time in the focuser. But still want something that's reasonable.
As much as I would like a 10 XW or 31 Nag. Funds do not allow.
Not a 1.25" I prefer 2" for what I will be using it for.

So your thoughts please and not what has been read on the web

My next eyepiece down is a 17 mm then I have a 10mm. So something in the 30 - 40mm.

Thanks

Ps if you have something for sale that maybe of interest Pm me.

Since you have a paracor, just get some medium price eyepieces with 80 deg view like bintels here https://www.bintelshop.com.au/Product.aspx?ID=7508 for the 20mm and then here https://www.bintelshop.com.au/Product.aspx?ID=7509 for the 30mm.
The paracor flattens the field nicely, so the eyepieces should show a nice image when combined.
People may complain about image quality at the near edge, but like i said, you do have the paracor and so you eliminate most probelms before it gets to the eyepiece.
Do yourself a favour and just try one. i used a 30 on my "Old" 22" f4.5 reflector that had a MPCC, images where great. But without the MPCC, the edges where not as good. Mind you still good, but not as good as with the MPCC..

Theo.

hmmm.. Paragon 30 or 40mm still advertised for $285/299 at Frontier Optics - sure to go up when the weak AU dollar catches up with it. Never tried one but by all i've read about them sounds very encouraging...

QXs I've tried in f/5 or f/6 even have been disappointing - bit better than Superviews but not all that much better..
