Corel Paintshop for Astrophotograpy

Hi all,

I just got a brand new copy of Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo x 2 Ultimate.

Does anyone know if it would be any good as a substitute for Adobe Photo Shop in regards to processing astrophotos.

I know it cant be used with Noels actions, but seeing as I have it......

Any advice would help.

Baz.

Hi Baz,
I am not into taking astro photo's myself yet, but I do have a photo program that I use for terestrial photo's, called Paint Shop Pro and a lot of the photoshop actions people talk about are available in this program. The only thing I am not sure of is my program is made by Jasc Software, so I am not entirely sure it is the same as the one you have shown. Anyway like i said most of the actions spoken about for adjusting photo's are available in my program.
Hope that helps.
