what would you do if you saw this approaching

This is an image I took about 10 months back showing a severe storm approaching from Pittwater. This Storm was AMAZING.....

I would get amongst it Andrew, I love storms the more lightning the better, but than again I'm probably crazy, great shots by the way.

I had a photo from a few years ago similar to that one - did you dodge the sparky bits and the lumps of esky ice?? Excellent capture - right place right time

I would do the same as you and take a photo. Nice shots there Hector .

Phil thoses images of yours are fantastic. It is a bit like watching Independence Day when you see these types of cloud formations approaching. Sevelar people were with me at the lookout when I took my image and they were saying the same thing at the time.
Not sure if John B can remember but when we were in the US last year we saw a similar storm with what appeared to be a reverse funnel going back up INTO the cloud. A couple from the UK were actual Storm/Tornado watchers and had also noted the formation. I tried taking a photo of the event but they didn't turn out enought to tell what was going on.
I am now addicted to watching these cloud formations associated with storms.
