12th August Jupiter

Found this avi amongst others from the 12 August that hadn't been processed. This was the last from that night and was cut short due to cloud. On viewing the avi the seeing was the steadiest of the night.

Io is transiting.

Thanks Mike and Matt for your comments.

I have tried to image Jupiter a number of times since that date and the results have been aweful, so this has given me a quick fix for some time.

The jetstream has been constant and on 2 occasions when it wasn't present the sky was clouded over completely.

All the best.

Thanks Alex and Fahim.

I find it interesting that the jetstream has nothing to do with how much rain we get here in S.A., as it has been constant and still we are in our third drought in a row.
