Trevor - how long were the individual exposures in the image (1.5mins?) There seems to be quite a bit of noise - did you subtract darks?

Cheers,

Peter.

I'm not sure what is causing the diagonal noise but for only 16 minutes worth of data.

You have done a good job with it. You could probably bring it out more in PS but that is up to you.

Well done. Keep at it.

A lot less noise in the second image - is it from the same exposures?

Omega Centauri is written on the second image.

Grasshopper. This is not good. The secrets of the universe will not reveal themselves unless you take much longer exposures, polar align and guide well.

Also, use the focus knob......

Hi Trevor, Shows some promise but you need to fire off a lot more images and longer images. Get some guiding going and your images will improve dramatically. Also with the moon up you will also improve things somewhat by taking some flat frames also.
