Hi Jon

An excellent portrait of one of my favourite lunar regions. Nicely processed with very smooth tones. Mons Pico and the other mountains look spectacular.

Cheers

Dennis

I agree with Dennis, Jon. A lovely image of Plato. Nice scale and tonal range. What camera are you using?

Thanks guy's.

Mike I am using the FC-1000m you can view details here: http://www.fclab.com/product1m.htm

This chip is used in a number of imagers right now mainly autoguiders like Orions, Fish & QHY's. It was also used in the SAC4.2 which, was a planetary camera that only a few were made before SAC went belly-up. Craig Stark of Stack Labs wrote some great software for it (the SAC version) which, works with my camera as well. My version is optimized for planetary, with short exposure settings, ROI's, very fast raw data downloads. I installed a cooling fan on it but need to ad a dampener to it to use it.

Thanks,

Jon
