It's Alive ...

After 7 weeks with a busted foot ... I can walk again ... They bolted what looks like roofing strap over the break to make it nead correctly. It worked

It hurts to walk after 7 weeks on my back ... but it's all in working order and the pain is just me learning to walk again. Hmm, I'm sure there are some opiates left over from the roofing strap op

My right foot rolled to the right on the bottom stair here one night and that broke a bone. Just too easy.

I'm self employed so 7weeks out of work really drives up the visa cards and drives down the business. If I can't recover by the end of the year I might have to take a real job

If you are self employed, get income insurance .......

That's great news Robin... I'll put your name down for the 100m astro-sprint up at Barambah then?

It is great to hear that your leg healed properly and that you are back on your feet again.

Glad to hear you are on the mend! I broke my ankle a few years ago and had 2 screws inserted. It sounds like you are through the worst of it (?). Ankles do stiffen up and lose a lot of their range of motion when they haven't been moved for a time - mine's still not back to 100% - so my tip is get into stretching it as soon as you are allowed to!

Hope things get back to normal asap!

Mark

Cheers guys, I won't be running anywhere soon unless there's a bar closing within earshot

I now have jobs starting to roll in again but I really need one of those, update our network type jobs to exit the hole I'm in before I have to sell off bits of the portfolio.

mcross is right, It now feels like a sprained ankle and I can not stand soley on the bad foot, it won't support my weight, but it's getting better and physico is always an option I guess.

But Barambah is looming and I need to be fit enough to attend
