Video Capture device issues

Hi,

I was planning to try a Watec video camera as a guide cam and have purchased a USB video grabber. I am able to get an image in Virtual Dub using USB2860 Direct Show but was wondering how you get guide applications like PHD to see this video source?

Help appreciated!,

Peter

Here's an update - tried another capture device (Easycap) and it worked fine. I'm assuming this is some type of driver issue although despite a day of stuffing around I was unable to resolve it. When I tried to un-install it also didn't want to play nicely.

So my advice is get an Easycap video grabber! I purchased one online for 1/3 of what the original device cost.
