With Jupiter at the zenith at sunset and well past opposition. It's size is smaller by the day. Is imaging Jupiter almost come to the end for the year? I imaged a reasonable Jupiter on 28Aug. Since then I couldn't get any decent avi or was it bad seeing?
For me it's almost over because of trees. But for people with a clear west horizon they could probably go for another month or 2 imaging for an hour or so after sunset.
I haven't imaged Jupiter in a while so I hope I'm not too late. I have a fairly un-obstructed view to the West so you might hopefully see a couple more Jupiter images from me.
