WO Megrez 102 First Light!

Heres the very first image taken with my William Optics Megrez 102.

Caught with a 350D, 1/2000th shutter, Minimal processing in CS2. Cropped and compressed to fit on forums, this is a 100% crop of the full image.

I tell you what... William Optics focusers are an absolute DREAM to use. So very smooth! (comparing to my Synta crayford however )

Thanks for looking.

Great image Alex!

It is great to see some images from you, especially from your new refractor.

Looking forward to more.

Great first light of the moon Alex, it was all rain and strong wind here last night. You're right about the WO focusers, a joy to use ay ... very smooth ... when you start getting into high magnification, they're very precise on the fine tuning as well ! Very happy with mine !

Fabulous detail Alex. Hard to maintain with the nearly full moon and so much light.

Not quite Michael, but I did do a fairly serious upgrade to my gear...

I dont believe in the old "make do with what you've got".. I prefer "get what you need to do the job right."

Jeez Louise!!!

What a corker! Most detail I have ever seen on La Luna.

I think the gear is starting to catch up with your skills Alex, for a first light shot that would blow my mind if I could get detail like that.

Phenomenal and no emoticons required!

Chris.
