Wish I could be there John. I was waiting for an important o/s call, so I had to stay home. At least i could get the new beast out and play. Not a bad sky tonight - and would have been pretty good without the moon.

Did the kids enjoy the experience?

Very nice! 5x powermate on the small scope still delivers very sharp results.

First light for me, and I'd say it does have all the bits in the right place! Lovely scope to use - I'm glad I relieved you of it Gary!

5x powermate with a DSLR... thats the first time I've seen that done before..

Great shot, lovely detail and most of all, Tak.. sharp...
