Do you know if this filter will fit a Canon 450D body or is this filter only for a 40D body?

I don't think so Matty, it's labelled "For EOS40D", and the Hutech price list has them separated...

No problems Doug, I think I'll go for the 48mm Filter to screw into the 2" noisepiece instead.

I have contacted the dealer I bought this filter from, and if this doesn't sell I'll be returning it to him as part exchange for a 72mm filter.
As I will be losing out on postage and insurance back to HK, I'm open to serious offers on this filter in the $300 ballpark.
