About a year ago, I bought the obligatory cheap Chinese CCD camera off of eBay, and proceeded to Frankenstein it to planetary and solar usability.
Yesterday, I finally gave it a run, and it performs ok, I guess. It was a $12 camera, and the images are passable. See attached solar images for an idea.
My question is this ...
From the images, you can see that at best, I can capture 1/4 of the solar face. Is there a relatively easy way to reduce things, so that I can get a broader image onto the screen?
The images were taken through a Coronado 40, I think it is.
