Journalistic standards these days
Hi,

Saw the following news story today:

They don't even say if it was Imperial, Metric, UNC or BA thread.
A good 10 inch shifter should have helped.

Definitely not the brightest spark , the Fireys should have cut it off with an angle grinder. (the nut that is)

This is the reason why I don't bother the Prime, 10 or Nine news , or broadsheets.

ABC and SBS , and BBC 24 hr News Service are much much better and more informative , and they give details.

Though I doubt they would highlight this story ....

Ian, you take life far too seriously. That is a (Nut)cracker of a story
But, having said that my estimation of the average "Journalist" is roughly equivalent to politicians and used car salesmen.
