Strongman Mike makes APOD! (Sept 1st)

Hello,

I was browsing my usual daily fix of astro websites when I espied a familiar name on APOD – Mike Sidonio. Mike’s image of CG4, A Ruptured Cometary Globule is gracing the pages there.

Congratulations big fella!

Cheers

Dennis

No worries Mike. I'll let you enjoy your few hours of fame so will resist showing your image with gradients and reflections to the masses...

On ya Dennis I actually found out about it from an email sent to me from Rob Gendler, a nice surprise in the morning to be informed of this most unusual and unexpected occurance by the World's greatest amateur astrophotographer ...and it wasn't even on my home page version of APOD at that stage either

Well I do have an SBIG... it's just got FLI etched in the side of it to make appearing on APOD that more challenging
