AstroDigital.net - Telescope, Eyepiece and CCD Calculator

Hi all

Was given this link recently and checked it out this morning - looks to be a pretty useful tool!

AstroDigital.net

A brief blurb:
Quote:
AstroDigital.Net is a free telescope, eyepiece and CCD calculator for astrophotographic and visual work. It computes the most important characteristics of your telescope system for a given eyepiece and camera combination, e.g: Magnification - Field Of View - Sensitivity - Exit pupil - Optimal flat value - Min. oversampling - Light gathering - Limited magnitude - Resolution - Image scale - Number of visible stars - Time window for planetary photography. AstroDigital.Net offers both a transparent and a configurable night vision mode. Keep it running every night on your laptop during your astronomy session!
The latest version also includes CCD calculation apparently, so useful for astrophotographers, too.

Looks interesting. I'll give it a run up beside New Astronomy Press CCD Calculator and see how they compare.

Hi netwolf, hello everybody,

It's not possible to change the picture yet (v1.4.66). Anyway, I hope you like AstroDigital.Net. My intension wasn't to compete any other CCD calculators but to provide more value, new features in a modern technology frame.

My name is Panagiotis and I am the author of AstroDigital.Net.
