Part of the Cats Paw in Ha

At long last after moving, numerous equipment issues and waiting for some clear skys, I managed get a bit of data amidst aligning at my new location tonight. Darker skys here but many trees. At least I won't be tempted to shoot too close to the horizon.

I have tried to avoid clipping but I have overdone the noise reduction a bit. All comments welcome.

Ha only 30min. Stacked in MaximDL and processed in Photoshop.

Good work Matt. Ha certainly delivers a contrasty feel to an image with the immense detail. The image looks a little soft, perhaps slightly out of focus. Look forward to seeing more of your Ha encounters - leave it until the moon is around.

Thanks Jase. Yes I have just recollimated and am much happier but I was in too much of a hurry to take enough time with the focus to reap the benifits. It was the first clear night in ages and I was trying to drift align as well to mark my tripod positions at my new location but I don't have it quite right so there is probably some movement in there.

Nice bit of Ha Matt, yes focus looks to be a little soft but shows what you are in for next time the sky clears
