How do you turn off automatic update in Adobe Design Standard CS3?

As the title said I want to turn of the automatic update feature. I caught it downloading a 260 odd Mb update for Adobe Device Central (which I wish I could uninstall but cant because its a part of the Design Standard installation ). Being on a 1gig monthly satellite limit this sneaky little feature is definitely not wanted. I've looked through PS & Device Central but can't find where to disable it.

Any ideas?

Fantastic, thanks for that Robin. I would never have found that muddling through on my own in the CS

Nice find - I let my firewall block it on CS2 - set Zonealarms to ask connection permissions so I only update quarterly at best.

Thanks Robin!

I'll have to do that too! I wish I could get a reasonably priced unlimited satellite connection...

Yeah, I'm on Activ8 too... 3GB shaped plan, $105/mth. Would be plenty I think if I was on it alone but there's 4 of us... The first 2 months were OK, but this month has gotten way out of control.
