Getting closer

I've been photographing small birds of late. Quite a different challenge. In a pond near my work lives a family of clamorous reed warblers (see 3rd pic) who regularly take a dip in the water (washing or insects I don't know). They're extremely shy and the previous best pic (no. 4) was using about 700mm equivalent glass.

Today I thought I would try my telescope to capture them. Some success but I'll keep trying til I get a really good shot of them. The first 2 shots were with the 20D going flat out. They're so quick those are the only shots with them in the frame.
