With the sale of the FS102 I now can also offer the wooden storage case I built for my first Takahashi. It was built around an FC100, but essentially the 4" Taks are all similar.
It is built from a New Zealand native timber, Rimu. The rimu is what is termed "recycled" it has been used before, so there is the odd nail hole, scratch etc, giving it a used look. The lid is hinged at the rear, and I have not fitted clasps to the front, but this would be a simple matter if the new owner so required it.
Eyepiece storage racks are along the rear, and there is a compartment inside where I stored a 2" diagonal. On the right rear I made a compartment that accommodated my Denkmeier bino-viewer.
When I built it I also made a rimu frame for a piece of Baader AstroSolar Film, and this resides inside a closed/lidded compartment under the OTA tube proper. It is out of sight and protected, but available at a moments notice once the tube is out of the case.
Priced at around what the materials would cost you to do it yourself, AU$150, plus 50/50 postage which will be in the vicinity of $50 - $60.
PM me for more details etc.

Is the case still available? If so, could you please provide me with a total price (ie case + my share of the shipping to East Fremantle, Western Australia, post code 6158).
