Reversed Medals

Am I slow to catch on or am I a bit over sensitive about China and Tibet, but has anyone else noticed that a great number of our athletes are holding up their medals with the Beijing symbol facing their bodies, therefore not visible? Is this a well known fact, a silent protest or am I overusing my "powers of observation"???

Jeeper Peter, 10 out of 10 for observation ! I'll have to look more closely. In the meantime, I see how the Poms have gone from being nowhere to being third after the USA and China - did someone give them a bag full of medals overnight or what

I think the cycling may have had something to do with it. I was watching the heats yesterday and they were the hot favourites...

Ummm , I think you are imagining things, there seems to me to be no pattern in how the winners are showing their medals at all.

They will be pleased to have won and will be wrapped up in the moment.
