Hi Ian

Nice shots although they look a little too dark and perhaps too contrasty on my monitor, an LCD panel?

Are you using IC Capture to control the DMK? If so, do you also display the live histogram – that really helps me when I am setting the Gain and Exposure settings. I keep the white point just left of the right hand side of the histogram to avoid saturatiing the whites. Sometimes, with the very bright rim of a crater, I can’t help but blow out the whites, so no detail is visible then.

I didn’t manage to get out last night and on Wed, the seeing was atrocious so I just did a little eye balling.

Cheers

Dennis
