if i only had the money, another "local" scope

I wish people will stop teasing me with telescopes and stuff. I mean items like this one http://www.astromart.com/classifieds...fied_id=370340. Now where else would you get a scope like that. Almost tempted to ditch the LX200! BUt I am sure someone has bigger better and cheaper for me to drool over

I don't know but I would have got rid of the 12" LX200 to bring this one home!

he must of thought he could get a better view over those trees with that monster

awesome scope though.. but abit too daunting for me. u just wouldn't use it.

Fear keeps people away but sooner or later they'll come over ! I can see you standing next to that 20" looking real cool Houghy . I say standing next to because the rest of us will be looking through It !

It looks like a home made scope. I'd like to see how well it has been constructed it sounds to good to be true. The mirror might be worth it depends on what state it's in.

MIke what were you doing in the forums at 3am!!!? I would like to know how a 20" can go for $7500 with the argonarvis and the rest of the gear ? I think Orion built his 18" for around that much but it is worth far more ?

Which question would that be Tony, why? how? whats wrong with the rest of the scope? Are you leaving astronomy? Have you got a bigger one?
