Mars on 60 Minutes and shrunken world!

Tonight on 60 minutes (Sunday 24 September) they have a segment on the Pheonix explorer so you might want to have a look.

SBS also has a doco "Honey I may have shrank the world" that may be interesting it is a 6 parter with the inventions that have changed the world.

Both should be worth a look...I have put a tape in so I don't have to watch the ads ...might watch Lost in Space instead

Actually watch 60 minutes LIVE (rare event) and enjoyed it...not a very deep article as it covered so much ground.

I wouldn't say I am a "believer" (I don't "believe" in anything the requires "belief") but I think the statistics are sufficient for a start, the evidence we are finding (last count 303 exoplanets, water on Mars, amino acids in meteorites and space, bacteria surviving for years on Surveyor, the list goes on) improves the odds dramatically. I am hoping the "press release" from NASA in a few weeks is "life Jim, but not as we know it!"
