I am totally depressed now. Now I have to go and buy a 3 metre telescope, just so that I can feel happy with my shots again.

On second thoughts, they are great shots and maybe with a little practice I can maybe do something similar. Fat chance of that.

For those of you who checked out the link vindictive666 posted and are impressed with David Malin's work there is a video that may be available from you local library called "The Man Who Coloured the Stars" (review here http://www.yorkfilms.com/tvcat/manwho/index.html ).

If you thought his images on a computer screen looked good, wait til you see them on video on you TV. Especially if you have a BIG TV. Gobsmaking! If you cant find it at you local, try to track it down. It is deffinately worth the effort.

It not only contains images but gives a brief overview of some of his techniques. Especially worthwhile for those of us still mucking around with film, but also transferable to CCD application.
