Jupiter 19 July

Hi all,

Another fair session on Jupiter from mt. Giogo on last Saturday night!
For the first time I used the very new RGB filter set by Baader Planetarium which are simply great!
The exposure falled down to 32 msec (my old Edmund Optics filter set never allowed me a faster than 44 msec exposure all being equal) and the color rendition is also very good! No add'l IR blocking filter was used.

Notice the SEB outbreak and the very dark spot in the STB emerging from the eastern limb.

Thank you for your attention.

Lovely result again, Paolo. Interesting news about the filters..

Are these new ones from baader? The original Baader RGB set I had nothing like the transmission of the Astronomiks I now use. Have you got a link to them?

Very nice images Paolo. For the altitude you get Jupiter they are outstanding. Well done.

Thank you for your nice comments!

Mike, find here attached the response with those filters.
Those aren't the old coloured glasses!!
This is a set of interferential filters peaking up to 99%!
Of course, I carry those also for sale from now on!
