Hi All,
I have a question that I thought someone may be able to help with here.
While looking at a great shot by Lester
here, I noticed at the bottom band of Jupiter there are about 4 white spots that instantly reminded me of the spacing of the Shoemaker Levy 9 impact photographs of when the comet broke up and impacted with Jupiter a few years back.
Could these white patches be left over "holes" in the cloud layers from this event?
It may have already been asked and solved but I am curious.
Thanks in advance
Chris
