Windy Day Beach Activities

These were taken on Sunday 29th June from Nambucca Heads.

It got *really* windy on the Sunday arvo, a strong onshore wind developed, and it wasn't long before the windy day activity people got out and about.

The guy in the first lot jumped off a nearby cliff and was riding the up drafts. The 2 kite surfers looked to be having loads of fun.

Canon 350D + 75-300mm lens @ 300mm, handheld.

Thanks

Now that's one sport I'd be too scared to try.

Wow a very nice compilation there Mike, lovely action shots.
I love how you framed the third one.
#6 & #7 remind me of the splashdown sequence of the old Command Modules on their return.

Nice series of shots mate...

Don't want to sound impatient or anything, but when do we get to see the Jupiter images from Nambucca? I've been holding my breath!

heh if they were brilliant I would've finished processing them already.

The time taken is usually proportional to the quality

We just didn't have any brilliant nights. Though Anthony's images are better than mine.

Ha ha, sounds like Anthony's "vaseline on the primary" trick worked after all......

Pity, still, a bad Iceman Jupiter is probably a lot better than most!
