Well after all week looking as though this would be a non event tonight the clouds kept away long enough for me to feast on the show. The second time I've seen this event this year, not bad dont you think?
These shots were captured with an Olympus 410 compact digital afocal, handheld. Taken through my 200mm newt. The disappearance was with the 25mm plossl and the reappearance was with the 13mm nagler and 2.5 powermate.
Tomorrow and most of the remainder of the week is supposed to be rain and windy, lucky I guess.
