Hmmm, perhaps this is why France hasnt tried to land a man on the Moon? Or is it because they think it is made of cheese?
Very sad,

Truly tragic. I suppose France has a left-over catholic tradition that buggers up science again. The producers of the show would be very aware of their audience and keep making this rubbish, because they keep watching.
Thanks for sharing

Maybe the audience did it on purpose, just to kick him off the show?
I know that that's what I'd do.

Not upset at all - I actually know from viable sources that flying saucers are made out of camembert cheese. Does this mean they also come from the moon?

Incredible
But, having said that, I would be willing to bet that a similar situation exists in most countries.

It just goes to show how the human mind can readily discard and refuse to store information that it considers useless to life's purpose.
Before condemning such people one has to investigate the truly useless and banal factoids that these people DO consider worthy of storing in their mental files. eg big brother, sports trivia.

You're right Geoff, my wife remembers words to songs like you wouldn't believe and peoples names after a single meeting with months in between, where as I am hopeless in these respects.

So true. They're very good with dates too... wedding anniversaries, mother's days, etc...
