Sunset/Sunrise - beautiful

Have moved house so now travel in the opposite direction to and from work. I head pretty well east driving to work and west to go home. I used to travel NW and SE.

So I get to see sunrise and sunset, depending on when I travel. I suspect it will be a real problem in parts of the year with significant sunglare (at 110kph - yikes!), but right now, with all the current cloud, I've been treated to wonderful sunrise/sunset, colours, rays streaking between and behind clouds - truly lovely to see!

And no more looking to the side to see Mercury and Venus, Venus is right in front of me for most of my drive home at present!

It's nice out west.

Yes Eric, the sunrise / sets are fantastic, although your right, sun glare can be a bit of a problem.

Although instead of looking for venus, I hope you occassionally look at the roads on your daily trips. I have good intentions of picking your brains at snake valley.

67 km each way! Best so far - 45 min leaving at 5:30am. Worst so far - over an hour closer to peak times. One day when there is a pileup on the Ring Road (occurs every few weeks), it will be a real problem!

Still jealous?
