Basic Equatorial Mount - Sydney (Liverpool)

Is anyone interested in the following equatorial mount?

This was owned by my late uncle, who passed away recently. The family is not sure what to do with the mount and it is too far for me to drive to Moree to pick it up. I haven't seen the mount firsthand by my father has and describes it as solid and I am guessing it would hold an 8-10" newtonian. He also mentions it was made by Astro-optics. Doesn't look like it has a motor drive.

$50 ONO.

NOTE : The mount is now in Sydney (at Liverpool). PM for a mobile phone contact.

Terry

I have friends in Moree that could probably pick it up. If it is a givaway our astro club (UNENTAS) could use it.

Just what I'm looking for.

Hi Terry,
I would be very happy to come and pick it up if it hasn't gone already.
I have been looking for a basic mount to add motors and controller as project.
Please let me know if it is still available and provide any instructions on how to proceed.
Regards,
Luke.

Luke/All,

Please note change of location (its now with my cousin in Liverpool, Sydney). I would also like to see somebody give some money for mount, even if it is a small amount.

Please PM for more info.

Terry

Hi Terry,

Firstly, is your mount still available? Secondly, does it have any form of movement control, e.g a slow motion knob?

Cheers,
Tom
