HEQ5PRO question

Hi, I have purchaced a heq5 mount and am using a 8" sct on it. If i were to upgrade to a bigger scope what would be the biggest scope that this mount would carry. Also do you have to add the balance weights onto the scope weight for a total or do you just go on the scope weight. Any info would be a great help. Thanks Bill.

I'd imagine 15 kgs of counterweights would be the limit this could handle under ideal (still) conditions for imaging.

Hi,
I too have the Heq5 pro and was told it could handle a 10 inch scope when I bought it as I currently have a 8 inch on it and they reckon that a small guide scope could go on with the 8 inch as well and still be allright just what I was told haven't tried it yet.
