47 Tuc quick and messy

The clouds cleared during the day, the excitement level jumped dramatically. Looking good I rolled the roof open and set about a 2 star alignment. Next moved to 47Tuc and setup PHD guiding. Did a couple of focus runs and started to image with 10 X10 sec images which were to be used to keep detail in the core of the glob. By the end of this run the clouds were back and thickening so all I ended up with was 8 X 10 sec subs which could be used. I have stacked them and cropped the image. I also forgot I had the focal reducer in the imaging train so poor little 47 Tuc was rather small.
Been so long I have almost forgotten how.

Nice going Doug, even with only 8x10sec subs the core has slightly burned out.. Im surprised that theres a hint of color at only 1min 20sec of data...

Hopefully you get the chance to bag the rest of the subs some time soon...

Ps. I hate clouds!

its been a bit like that lately, definitively a cloudy winter this year, lot of effort then you only get less than 2 minutes with the camera, been much the same here unfortunately........

Nice one Doug. Great to see 47Tuc again, not bad for 80 seconds worth of data but it is slightly burnt out at the core.

Well done.
