Have I Learned Anything

Hi Guys, since the weather has not been in my favor for some time, I have had many nights learning, and re-processing images.

With many questions asked, and suggestions put into practice I think that these couple of images below is as good as I can get with the data I have.

I can see now that I need to take longer subs, and follow the guide lines of processing in a systematic way, and not end up with such dark images.

So when the nights clear I will hopefully put all that I have learned into practice, and hope for some good images.

Having said that these images below have been processed in many different ways, and I feel that the result below is a good as I might expect from the limited data that i had captured.

You have all seen these before, but that is not really the issue, I need to know if I have learned anything from you good people.

I used Image Plus for the first step in the process, then moved them to PS2 for some levels, and slight contrast and brightness.

The images were taken with the Modded 5D and Tak.

Please have a look and be as critical as you like, I need the practice.

Leon

very impressed with the m8-m20 image. Great color and contrast. The eta also shows alot of detail also. The joys of a modded camera.

Well done, and in answer to your question. Yes, i think you've learned alot.

Leon,
You have come a long way lately with your images!
Colors are very nice and you are not clipping your data anymore!
You can see the full range from the very dark dusty areas to the brighter stars as in the crab neb pic...
Keep at it!
cheers Gary
