Another Eagle in Ha

Hi all, here's another Eagle taken last Saturday using a Ha 13nm Astronomik filter and the DSI II.

This was taken in Alt/Az with the LX200R using the f/3.3 FR.

It consists of 64 subs @ 30 seconds each, stacked in DSS and curves/levels were tweaked in Paint Shop Pro.

I was hampered by the sudden onset of cloud so I hope to revisit this nebula soon and collect some OIII and SII data to complete the image.

Cheers

Cheers guys, I'm glad you liked it.

I regard the Eagle as one of those nebulae in the the same class as Eta and the Orion nebula, It doesn't matter how much they are imaged they always look great.

Cheers

Thanks all for your replies, just looking at the weather soothsayer's site and it's not looking good at the moment for getting the rest of the data.

It might be next year at this rate. LOL

Cheers

Gee Ric, um, you need to get Photoshop, looks like you didnt spend much time tweaking levels and curves. The pillars look OK tho.

Thanks guys.

Hi Fred, your right I didn't tweak to much, I find that at the moment the more I touch the more mistakes I make. Photoshop would be nice but I just can't afford it so I'l have to make do with Paintshop Pro.

Cheers
