Celestron C8 and extras
This C8 has been well looked after and originally was owned by JohnG and he had it in his observatory. As a package it comes with the losmandy D plate and fittings (originally it had type C but I upgraded it), 8" solar glass filter and a APM rail and rings (you can mount a ED80 in this), metal hartman mask, bobs knobs for collimation and illuminated finderscope and fully multicoated optics. This is all housed in a case. it is a black OTA. The only reason, and I mean only reason I am selling this is because I have far too many scopes and nowhere to keep this. i really do not want to part with it. I am asking $1000 dollars FIRM. remember it comes with losmandy D plate - and has the ADM rail and rings and(((this item has been taken -0 --- custom dew shield)))!!
The case is the original celestron one - I have covered it in clear contact to help keep out the moisture
This does not include frieght and preferably pickup would be good. Electronic bank transfer is preferred for payment.
This is a self preservation sale – the war drums are beating and I have dropped the original price by $400.

a few answers to some questions - Paul has dibs on the dew shield, no there is no diagonal, there is a standard celestron visual back.
please note a brand new scope like this would be

so far there is nearly $2600 worth of gear not counting some other stuff.

a Sky 90 just sold for $1300 Dave, and Geoff can't sell his stuff so l think it shows second hand gear aint worth much nowadays.
