8" Newt choices and CCD.

Ok, so I have my 12" light bridge and I have an HEQPRO5 mount as well as a Meade 125ETXPE. At the moment I have the 125 on the EQ5 but I want to start down the astrophotography black hole.

The biggest I can put on the EQ5 is an 8" and I can just buy an 8" dob and stick the newt on on my mount but I'd really rather not pay for the dob base if I'm not going to use it, and I dont mind paying a little extra for something better. An 8" dob will be around $400 but I dont mind putting another couple of hundred in to get a good quality scope, especially since I can only go for an 8".

What would you say is the difference in quality between the GSO and the Skywatcher dobs? Is there any difference in the quality of the optics between the two?

Next question would be what web cam would you recomend. I know there are a million threads out there asking the same question but I've been looking at the DBK 21 colour to start off with would this go well with the scope?

Thanks

An 8" dob with a guide scope and cameras may be too heavy for the HEQ5Pro. I have than now and have ordered an EQ6.
