Centaurus Glob

well this is my first shot with my new MPCC and I must say I'm very impressed with it, tight stars right the the edge, can't complain about that.

I couldn't think what to aim at as eta was low and lagoon, triffid etc was in the glow of the coast so I aimed at Centaurus Glob.

Unfortunately now that I have full frame shots It's harder to get them down under 200k without having them really small . But I'll find a way around that sooner or later.

details
10" skywatcher reflector
EQ6 pro autoguided with ed80 + dsi2
Stock 350D with MPCC
45 x 2 minute exposures
Iso 800
stacked in DSS and processed in photoshop.
HI-res

Very nice tight stars in the image and crop.
Well done. The coma corrector works well.
Find an image hosting site like 'photobucket' to post your high res images - probably the easiest way of getting round the 200k barrier. And, post a link to the image of course
All the best
Doug

Yeah thats right I do have a photobucket login somewhere I'll have to go searching again, I just didn't like all the clutter on the site.
I'll go fire up the processing computer.

Yeah, unfortunately FREE = ADVERTISING = CLUTTER!!!!
I also use FileMojo to upload files...

Not too sure off the size limit, but I think you could upload very large files there.
Cheers

Thanks, I was aiming at about 32 frames then I though a few more won't hurt.
I have now added a high res version
