Furry stars tonight

The stars are all looking furry tonight. I presume it is the ruckus in the jet stream - or do I need to shave my eyeballs?

The seeing is shocking, and has been all week.

Curiously I had exceptional seeing last night. Not a twinkle to be seen.
Just blurry cold.

Lucky you. It all looked good, so I got the scope out, but the furry stars were out in force!

I still had a good night though, checking on some of my favourite galaxies.

Not a surprising observation at all. Seeing has been outright craptacular since the unfortunate demise of summer.

I am convinced that Summer is far, FAR superior in terms of EVERYTHING when it comes to observing.
