Observing Log Lton 8/7/2005

Seeing: 8/10
No clouds, mist or fog
Slight breeze.

What a night!! All i used all night was the finder scope, 30mm ultra wide and the 12.5 series 500.

Started with the jewel box, got some video

and a registax image

had another crack at NGC5189, hard to see tonight.

Omega centauri, tarantula, ngc55, ngc300, scultor galaxy, helix nebula

Finished off with m6 and m7. Started packing up and thought i will ask the lovely wife, does she want to see some 3 or 4 things. Out she came and i was very happy to show her a set of the above. She loves the new ultra wide 30 deg, it is her favourite.

Will study up on a few of the challenges for another night

Sounds like a very productive night Dave, especially for the missus!

Wish I had some clear sky. Well done!
