its a horrible scope Eh Phil

what were your initial reactions to the scope? It blew me away with what I thought was quality and value for money.

It is good quality for the price. Does not come near the quality of the Televue scope. Mind you the Televue is 5times the price. Optics are very nice on mine have not taken any photos yet. One thing i have found with mine the ten to one focuser the fine focuses on mine does not work. I have email the supplier today about this. Be interesting if they reply to my email.

can get the main focuser to work but the fine one just keeps slipping and does not turn the tube out. I have played with the screws but no go.

are both the tension and locking screws tightened - will only work with the tension, if you lock it it will turn but not move

yeah tried that i took it apart today and there is a lock nut inside which looks like the problem. If you tighten it it work but then the main wheel does not. I will wait till i get a reply from the supplier.

If you get no reply, give him a call on 0011+86+2583808470. Last time, it helped me speed a few things up. Make sure you either speak slowly or speak Mandarin
