I can see where the humour is coming from Laurie, but I think it is a tad 'bad taste' until it lands safely back on Earth. Then it would be funnier!

I think it's a bit over the top, and way too early for humour as they are facing what could be a life and death situation when attemting re-entry.

Let's hope they make it back safe, then start with the jokes.

just my 2 cents.....

I agree 100% it's not humour at all. When they arrive back safely then some jokes can happen, until then keep them to yourselves but I am sure all of us understand that. Funny though in a sort of way.

It'll be funny if they make it back to Earth. Until then I don't think it's funny at all.

You guys missed the point. George Bush is the king of the faux par. Bush does not realise that the landing is the relevant part of the mission. Thats why its funny. Bush is a knucklehead when it comes to this sort thing. Like when he gave six speeches across America on using Faetal tissue for research. On each and every occassion he said Faecal tissue.

I think that is why this comic is so funny. Bush did not have enough idea why congratulating the astronauts at this stage is so inappropriate. He obviously did not know that the last time the shuttle re-entered it broke up. Geez, how stupid do you have to be.

G'day Paul
You hit the nail on the head. His wife is the brains of the outfit. I hope Andy and the gang get back in one piece. The uncertainty could really chew into you if you let it. Just as it would have for those poor b's trapped in the Russian mini sub. Holy living nightmare, Batman.

Cheers
David
