Comet Boattini from Brisbane 26June08

Hi all,

I tracked down Boattini for the first time this morning. Easily identifiable in binoculars at about 5 am.

The attached images were taken at about 5:20, using a Pentax K100D and 300mm lens, 1600 ISO, f/5.6 and 15 or 20 second exposures. Images were cropped and levels adjusted a bit in Photoshop. They aren't great images, but the comet is clearly visible and I captured the characteristic green colour, so I'm fairly happy with them.

Definately worth getting up for!

Cheers,
Stephen
