Ok the big shiny yellow thing is called Fred, he likes being looked at , he's a bit of a show pony you see, thinks the light shines out his.... anyway, with a big scope he's stunning! Be carefull not to fly too close to him or.... well there was this guy, called Icarus you see and he loved Fred very much.... ah.... I'll tell you another time.
The blue stuff is called the ocean, if you jump high enough you can go for a swim in it, don't go throwing sharp things at it or it will all come down on your head again and you'll have to build an Ark and gather your pets.
You'll find this stuff everywhere, except for maybe a few white-ish ill-defined area's that seem to drift slowly(caused by the earths rotation, in whichever direction you see them coming from) and ofcourse that small round patch where the big shiny yellow thing is that you saw previously.
